The Mousekatot family loves Mac and Cheese!
I feel like Bubba from “Forest Gump” when I list my favorite ways to prepare this cheesey culinary delicacy (we have your buffalo mac and cheese, broccoli mac and cheese, vegan mac and cheese, etc.)
It also happens to be one of the few things our picky little Mousekatot will eat. So for us knowing where we can get this golden treat is important to our dining plans.
Luckily, nestled in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom is “the place” to go for mac and cheese: The Friar’s Nook.
Situated in a building that looks like it was plucked straight from Sherwood Forest is this counter service restaurant that offers a wide selection of food at pretty good prices.
The lunch and dinner offerings include:
- Pot Roast Macaroni & Cheese
- Barbecue Chicken Macaroni & Cheese
- Macaroni & Cheese topped with toasted panko bread crumbs
- Hot Dog with chips
- Village Farms Snack Pack Tomatoes
- Carrot Cake
- Apple and Carmel Dippers
- Assorted Fountain Drinks
- Odwalla Lemonade Slushy
- Minute Maid Apple Juice
- Nestle Nesquick Chocolate Milk
- Chocolate Soy Milk
- Hot Tea
- French Vanilla Iced Coffee
- Dasani Bottled Water
- Simply Orange Orange Juice
- Soy Milk
- Nestle Hot Cocoa
- Mocha Iced Coffee
The most expensive item on the menu is the Barbecue Chicken Macaroni & Cheese at $9.49.
This place also accepts the Disney Dining Plan.
