Tucked away in the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT, almost as if hidden within a secret garden, lays a hidden gem: Katsura Grill.

Situated in a tranquil Japanese garden, with outside seating available, Katsura Grill is a counter service restaurant, which means that you walk up to a window to order your food, is part of the dining plan and would require one quick service credit.

The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner, and can become quite the popular place to catch the evening performance of Illuminations.
The menu offers a variety of foods to suit both timid and more adventurous pallets.
The lunch and dinner menus include: Sushi: Tokyo Sushi Combo, Spicy Roll and California Roll; Noodle: Shrimp Tempura Udon, Beef Udon, Spicy Seafood Ramen and Tonkotsu Ramen; Recommendations: Garlic Shrimp, Chicken Cutlet Curry, Chicken Teriyaki, Shrimp and Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken and Beef Teriyaki; Sides: Miso Soup, Edamame and Steamed Rice; Kids Meal: Chicken and Shrimp Teriyaki, Chicken Teriyaki and Beef and Shrimp Teriyaki; Desserts: Green Tea Cheesecake and Ice Cream; Beverages: Specialty Beers, Plum Wine, Iced Green Tea, Juice, Sake and more.

Katsura Grill currently has a four out of five rating on TripAdvisor.
User GeorgiaDelargy wrote, “Food arrived VERY quickly, which as fab, and when it came, it was delicious. The noodle bowl and the sushi were superb!”
Holidaytime wrote, “Ate here for lunch one day, the restaurant is away from the main hustle and bustle of the park which was actually very relaxing, and the view was very nice. Food was also quite good for a quick service restaurant, and the specialty green tea cheesecake; very refreshing.”
However, not everyone was a fan.
Mandy Y wrote, “While we enjoyed the quiet, secluded spot for lunch on a hot day, we were not fans of the food. It tasted like mall food court cuisine, and no one in our party was a fan of their meal. There are many other options inside EPCOT that I doubt we’ll return to this location.
